The short version: Peekly works inside your browser. The pages you preview, the links you hover and the sites you visit are never sent to us. There’s no account to make, and we have no record of how you use the extension.
Peekly needs to run on the pages you visit so it can show preview cards and open links in a preview. Here is what that involves:
A few features you choose to use send something to a third party. Peekly never sends it to us.
Support payments are handled by StreamPay. You don’t type a name or email, and we never see or store your card details. We receive only what StreamPay reports to every seller: that a payment of a given amount was made. Questions about a payment are answered by email, using only what you choose to tell us.
Before every feature became free, Peekly sold license keys. If you bought one, we keep the email address you gave us and your key, so we can help with that purchase. Email us and we’ll delete them.
peeklyapp.com doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time to keep the site running and stop abuse.
Only the services needed to run what’s above: StreamPay for payments, our hosting and database providers, and our email provider for replies about earlier license keys. We don’t sell or rent data to anyone, and we don’t use it for advertising.
You can clear Peekly’s cache in Settings, turn it off for any site from the toolbar popup, or remove the extension, which deletes everything it stored in your browser. For anything we hold, such as an earlier license email, write to us and we’ll send you a copy or delete it.
Peekly isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
